Y.O.U. Youth of UnityCalling All High School Age Teens Grade 9-12
Youth of Unity will officially begin on Welcome Back Sunday,
September 11, 2011 at 10:30 pm. As young people in Y.O.U. we are recognize our
responsibility to raise global consciousness by showing respect for ourselves
and our community. This year we are dedicating ourselves to service as a way to
inspire ourselves and be inspired by others.
If you are new to Unity and our youth program, we encourage you to
participate in the exciting service, social and regional events we have planned
for the upcoming year including:
Habitat for Humanity Project
Emergency Family Assistance Food Drive
Creating our Annual Halloween Haunted House
Lock-ins
Wednesday Social Nights
Teen Leadership Opportunities

To parents of 11-14 year olds:
If you're reading this, chances are you've had spiritual
teachers, and more importantly, a place that supported your spiritual unfolding
at some point in your life. If you're lucky, you had these blessings in your
early years; if you're like me, you had to search for a long time before you
found the circumstances that supported your spiritual growth.
Your kids don’t have to look far to find a place and
circumstances that encourage and support their journey. The place is the same one that supports your
spiritual life – Unity of Boulder – and the venue is Uniteens. This September give your kids an incredible
gift of spiritual support, and sign them up for Uniteens. On a weekly basis they will meet with
likeminded young people to sing, pray, meditate, learn and explore the joy that
a spiritual life can offer. They’ll
also have fun doing service projects and challenging personal growth
activities, all within a safe and sane environment with the guidance and
support of loving, qualified adult counselors.
