February Letter

Through meditation, spiritual practice, you can come to see as the eagle - with the awareness and wisdom of spirit.
Meditation is the food of life.  We think that the food we eat is creating who we are.  But when we take the time to prepare for and actually meditate each day or evening, this is the food that brings peace of mind, patience, a glow of contentment, clarity to any projects we are attempting, any insights we need and the key to a happier more fulfilling existence.
We have CDs of guided meditations by Jack, Syntysche, and a preparation that I use which is Harmonic chanting through the chakras into silent meditation.  We have a free handout on the front table that will tell you how to prepare for meditation.  We have a whole meditation section in our bookstore.  All kinds of incense, candles, sage, sweetgrass and essential oils that lift your consciousness into a place that is ready for the silence.


Health Tidbit:  Drink a lot of water throughout the day but avoid all water in plastic bottles, use glass containers.  Keep essential oil lavender with you at all times for headaches, cuts, burns, injuries from falls  and back pain.  Use the oil immediately.  Just rub a few drops on the injured area.  
 For those of you who have the light therapy kits, the blue gel works great to keep away the winter doldrums.
